More Wars
On October 7, 2023, the world was shocked and outraged by the infiltration of Israel by Hamas terrorists. The world grieves for those who have died in the war and worries for the hostages of the terrorists. Months later, the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is still ongoing and escalating.
In the near future (or possibly being fulfilled now), according to the prophet Ezekiel chapters 38–39, there will be a war called Gog and Magog. According to Rabbi Rashi, in Ezekiel 38:2–3, Gog is the king’s name (equivalent to a president nowadays). Magog is the name of the nation [1].
The enemies come primarily from the northern nations (Ezekiel 38:6). These nations will attack Israel when Israel is at peace without warning (Ezekiel 38:11). However, God intervenes, and Israel wins this war so that all nations shall know that He is God (Ezekiel 38:21–23).
It is not surprising that Ezekiel may point to these present northern nations, such as Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, or even far-northern Russia, who will become a joint coalition and attack Israel according to his prophecy.

In addition, the war between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for over a year. Civilians and soldiers from both countries suffer. As of today, the Russia-Ukraine war continues with no end in sight; instead, strikes are still escalating.
Besides the Russia-Ukraine war, there are still over 30 wars ongoing in the world as of 2023, according to the World Population Review [1], and they are all causing significant damage and casualties in the affected countries.

From His mouth comes a sharp sword—so that with it He may strike down the nations—and He shall rule them with an iron rod, and He treads the winepress of the furious wrath of Elohei-Tzva’ot. On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “King of kings, and Lord of lords.” Then I saw a single angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he cried out to all the birds flying high in the sky, “Come, gather for the great banquet of God— to eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of generals and the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and those riding on them, the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great! Also I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the One who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and along with him the false prophet who had performed the signs before him by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, as well as those who had worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the One riding on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.”
